Held from 29–31 March 2026 at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the inaugural African MRO Conference brought together more than 450 delegates from over 50 countries. Organised by AFRAA in partnership with Ethiopian MRO, EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering, Kenya Airways MRO, and South African Airways Technical, the event focused on strengthening maintenance, repair, and overhaul capabilities across Africa.

Under the theme “Building Africa’s Sustainable MRO Ecosystem,” industry leaders, technical specialists, airlines, and service providers explored opportunities to enhance local maintenance capacity, improve operational efficiency, and reduce dependency on overseas maintenance facilities. The conference also highlighted the importance of partnerships, investment, skills development, and technology adoption in building a stronger African aviation industry.

For Flight Serve Ltd, the conference represents an important networking platform connecting operators, airlines, MRO providers, and aviation stakeholders across the continent. As operators travel to Addis Ababa for industry events and business meetings, Flight Serve Ltd remains available to support permit coordination, ground handling, crew logistics, and operational planning requirements.

Whether you will be attending the event or would simply like to connect with our team, we would be pleased to hear from you. Let us know if you are planning to attend so we can arrange a meeting in advance, or reach out if you would like to discuss aviation support opportunities even if you will not be present at the event.
